Thanksgiving Games – Turkey Land

Thanksgiving games are a great way to keep kids entertained

If you’re looking for something fun to do with the kiddos you’ve found it.  As far as Thanksgiving games go, Turkey Land stands out as being especially fun.  Make sure you print all the pieces and if you have card-stock paper I’d recommend that you use it, at least for the game pieces.  This is a free game, so just click on the link below each picture to print the pdf 🙂  You might also want to go print a free thanksgiving placemat.

Here’s how you play, the rules are on the game board pieces page that you’ll be printing too.  Players take turns drawing cards. If a player draws a card that has a color, that player must move their piece to the next space on the gameboard that has that color. If a player draws a card with two color blocks, that player must advance two spaces with that color. If a player draws a card with a picture, that player must go to the space with that picture, even if they have already passed that space! If a player lands on the space next to the river of gravy, they can take a shortcut. Whoever makes it to the dinner table first wins!
