In today’s vlog, juice fast day 7 I’ll discuss everything from yummy salsa juice to struggling with meal prep and taking care of my family while on my juice cleanse. It may be harder to get healthy while raising a family but it isn’t impossible. I also want to set a healthy example for my girls so they don’t have to struggle with weight problems their whole lives and have health issues like PCOS and Diabetes. If you missed yesterday’s video don’t forget to watch juice fast testimony for day 6.

VIDEO TRANSCRIPT – Juice Fast day 7
Day 7, I’m going on a Juice Fast. Because I’m sick of looking like this and feeling sick all the time. I want to look like I did before kids. I need to be healthy and alive for these guys. Day 7, was in the kitchen all day yesterday juicing, this is salsa juice I made this when we first started drinking juice and love it, it’s like pico de gallo. I’ve been putting it in these organic lemonade containers we had leftover.
And I don’t know it just makes it seem fancier to me. I just started yesterday in a really positive place and then I guess my husband was like withholding juice from himself or something and he was all neuh and I was all uhhh and it kind of blew up into something. So it was a cranky day after all. But, we got it back together.
We sat down and had some couch time and I said when you’re hungry you drink the juice and I took the laptop into the kitchen because I was in there all day. But basically I was watching it out of the back of my head so that’s not any fun. My husband agreed to let me order the Kindle Fire thingy which I can mount right in front on the cabinet above where I juice. So I can watch movies and documentaries because I’m spending like all day in the kitchen because I’m not just juicing for myself I’m juicing for him and he drinks like 3 times as much juice as I do.
I say that in love sweetie. And I also have to do constant meal prep for my 3 children. So, I think that’s one of the hardest things is the mom factor that I could just go buy them TV dinners, yeah, I just got a yay from a kid out of that, but those are garbage and I don’t want to feed that to my kids. And we’re already vegetarians and a few months ago we went totally vegan again which I was when I actually married my husband.
But everyone gave me crap when I was pregnant about not getting protein and whatever, so I started eating cheese, which really was really healthy because cheese meant “cheesecake” and wendy’s frosties when I started having dairy. Not at all healthy. Anyway, so we’ve gone back to that so I have to basically make everything they eat from scratch.
But I felt really good about the stuff I was making them. I was trying to make the effort to make most of their plates raw and then have a little bit of cooked on there. You know, giving myself a chance to try to do some easy things like slap some canned veggies on their plate too, just because it’s already in my pantry. And it was done, but yeah, I spent the entire day in the kitchen.
I don’t think if you’re doing the juice fast just for yourself that would be the case. I also have a Greenstar, which is amazing, it gets so much out of the greens. Like I do cilantro and like nothing comes out of the chute unless I do multiple heads of it. So that’s great, but it does take a long time. So that’s going to give me some guns here.
What else, just starting the day again. It’s going to be my first day, my husband just got a new job and today he’s going on a field trip with my daughter so it’s going to be just me and the baby today so it’s really my first day, except for the day where I went and helped my sister where I’ve been just alone. So I have to do all the juicing by myself. My husband’s been helping me clean and stuff anyway, hoping the energy is there, because otherwise he’s going to be juicing at 6 at night.
