I’m going to show you how to make a mattress cover, because long after your child has “finished” potty training they might continue to experience nighttime bedwetting. One solution is to just throw a pullup on your child every night. If they don’t have an accident have them tuck it under their pillow with their pajamas to get another use out of it.  But the pullup doesn’t allways keep everything in (and they are super expensive) so what about your poor mattress?  If you haven’t already found out the hard way urine is a hard smell to get rid of! 

After fighting a war with store purchased matress covers that so don’t deserve to be called rubber sheets, I finally gave in and came up with a way to keep the matress safe.
