Crochet Pattern For Child’s Hat & Scarf

Winter is here… AGAIN.  It’s the time of year where no one can find there gloves, and everyone is COLD.  I decided to hit the yarn tub and use up some of those random scraps I always seem to accumulate from my bigger
projects.  None of the colors in this project even use an entire thing of yarn so I encourage you to take a risk and clear up those random bits!  I decided to make the scarves long and the hats loose so I can get at least a couple years use out of my effort.  Keep reading for my free Crochet Pattern For Child’s Hat & Scarf.

  1. Joquena,
Any chance you’ll do some videos of the, “teach-the-dummy-to-crochet” type so I can learn how? Every time I try to crochet or knit its a huge failure :/ The scarves and hat you made look great!

    • Ahhh, Thanks for visiting. I love your website! I’ve already done one video on how to crochet a chain chain and I hope to add another tomorrow (if the kids all cooperate!) on how to single crochet. I’m a terrible knitter 🙁 Never could figure it out past the basic stitch.
